A gathering of Habari folk would be brilliant. Obviously it should be
held in Melbourne, Australia ;)

I see Sean has started some notes on the wiki about what and where[1].

In regards to location, looking at the community map[2] (if you're not
on there and you want to come, put yourself on there to be counted)
the greatest density of Habari folk is obviously eastern USA, so makes
sense that it's somewhere there. It should be in a city where someone
who is willing to help/lead the organisation lives. Basically someone
who might know appropriate venues (social as well).

We seem to have been calling this HabariCon for a while. That's ok, it
flows off the tongue and it's got "icon" in it, but I would hope we're
not planning on a conference style gathering. I envisage a single day
event with very loose session ideas and we can see how it develops in
the future.
