It's this way because the Atom feed is the same as the Atom Publishing Protocol entrypoint. When you access via APP as an authenticated user, you want the raw post content, not the output-formatted content. Regardless, the current code isn't working correctly. There's still something wrong, but the only fix I have right now would disable APP entirely. For my site I don't care, for Habari core something better is required.
