I do not know enough about Launchpad to give a useful opinion on the
total issue of distributing translations, but I do want to stress that
the decisions about what to put in and what to leave out applied just
to this 0.6 release, and were (I understood) intended only to defer
the decision about what languages *will* ship in more mature Habari
versions. The languages that are in 0.6 don't reflect any plan to
exclude any languages long-term. It was motived by release logistics.

Some discussion of what criteria might establish a language for
inclusion in core, what might make it a candidate for -extras, and how
to distribute translations, has occured in passing in preparation for
the 0.6 release. It should be completed and decided by the community
as Habari evolves toward 1.0.
