With no disrespect to the creators of the current iteration, I've always felt the website was never quite finished.
Namely, I don't think we do a good enough highlighting our features. A while ago, I mocked up a possible implementation of a nicer feature list which I'll see if I can find. Obviously, I'd also like to see integration with the forthcoming plugin/theme directory, but that still needs more work on the technical side. Do you use irc? If so, please stop by the #habari channel on freenode so we can discuss some ideas and any of your proposals.
