Hi out there,

I got a problem with the atom feed. I need a valid feed to get it into
a planet-software. I didn't thought that would be a problem because
the atom feeds are standards compliant. But then I got an error
because the feed didn't validate.

So everything is valid except umlauts in <id>. The specs want them
like special chars given in percent keys. So there should be something
that fixes this for correct output.

For most feedreaders it isn't a problem cause they ignoring this, but
some scripts and apps insist on the validation and throwing errors
just like this planet-script.

That should really be fixed just cause we insist ourselves on
standards. ;)

I will try to get into the code myself and make a suggestion, but
maybe there is someone who knows this part of the code better than me.

regards,
Florian
