Hi Balazs I just sync'ed up to r3748 and as I was using a modified version of the RN related posts plugin, I also downloaded the latest version you are using.
I completely removed the previous version, added the new version and configured again. It worked fine for me using my custom theme. I simply use echo $related_posts; to output the list.
