My friend and I are starting the site because we take care of web and
mobile technology for a microfinance organization (http://
www.lumana.org). We give small loans to impoverished entrepreneurs in
rural Ghana so that they can expand their businesses. We'll be using
Open Data Kit (http://opendatakit.org) for mobile data collection this
summer and want to develop our own interface for metrics and reporting
on this data. We're both web standards-type guys so we decided on
HTML 5 over flash or some other solution.

At this point we're just experimenting with the canvas and
Processing.js, but if we're going to take the time to try and figure
something out we might as well produce something that others can use
as a starting point. Still not sure what that looks like right now,
but I'm thinking a Habari plugin and a jQuery extension for some
simple charting with processing.js + canvas.

I'll make the changes when I have a minute and update the page. Is it
ok that I put these lines of code in my theme.php file? Also is there
a more elegant way to get my theme's directory than just hard-coding
it in theme.php?

Awesome. I'll check it out, thanks for the info.
