I just wanted to say hello and that I'll be lurking for a little while before I leap. It'll take me a little while to get a footing in the code base for Habari. I'm coming over from the Wordpress community due to some personal issues with their take on the GPL. Happy to finally find a PHP project that's not GPL!
While I'm lurking and learning, if the community needs any help from a front-end developer (my day job) just shoot me an email to get my attention. I'm very familiar with Mootools, but I've also used JQuery (icky) and Dojo(shudder). I've also worked as a back end developer (PHP5) , Database administrator (MySQL) and Linux systems administrator (Debian/Ubuntu, Cent/RHEL). I come from a SVN background, but have some experience with GIT as well. I don't speak Windows - at all, so please don't ask if I can fix your computer. ;) I'm currently working on a March Madness thing for a client. I've previously worked on the CBC World Cup bracket selector, a cars.com promo-game, BorrowMe.com, and many, many WP 2.x sites. I'm Mike, and I'm at strixy.com.
