I've had no end of problems with MediaWiki lately. Upgrading it is a nightmare, configuring it isn't much better, extending it is a cluster ****, and the permissions system is non-existent. I also generally find the process of searching and editing content to be confusing and unglamorous, so I'm all-around hating life every time I have to touch it.
So I'm curious if there's a reason we went with MW? I suspect simply because it's *the* wiki package, but thought I'd check. I really don't know of anything better off hand and I'm content to leave it alone until it needs attention again, but I thought I might be able to at least get some brainstorming or opinions going. -- To post to this group, send email to [email protected] To unsubscribe from this group, send email to [email protected] For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/habari-dev
