It is not the place of the core Habari team to dictate that all themes must support certain plugins.
Furthermore, we can't be dictating that plugins must implement specific templates... that's up to the plugin authors to decide. It makes sense for them to do so, but in the end that is the author's decision. Habari is all about keeping the core light and letting plugin developers handle the rest... how they see fit. I don't see how implementing a whole bunch of presentational functions or coercing plugin developers into doing things _our_ way is in line with that vision.
