If an editor is not using the habari.editor functions, then it is doing it incorrectly. If the habari.editor functions aren't doing what they're supposed to, then we need to address that problem. The code you pasted looks to see if the content field is labeled, which is a poor way of detecting if the text control has content. This should probably be changed in the Habari core code to more accurately reflect whether the field has content.
