A couple of days ago, I discovered a bug where the comment searching doesn't function properly. For example, searching for status:unapproved will NOT filter out approved comments. In other words, searching for spam comments or something similar and deleting them all, will delete ALL of your comments.
Ali B. (dmondark) discovered the cause to this (from what I understand.) Michael Bishop (miklb) also experienced this issue, and had to do a database restore. This was on HEAD code. I'm not sure if its a bug in 0.5.1, or just HEAD.
