I don't know about others, this is what I do to update my own theme.
1. svn up at localhost
2. see if default theme files got changed
3. do file compare (text difference) between default themes and mine
4. test changes required at my own theme files at localhost
5. update my theme files at server
My problem is that I don't know if changes are theme specific or due to core
changes? Is there a better way for 'normal user'?
