It doesn't appear that your upgrade occurred properly. There are a couple of things you could try.
1. Open your database and delete the database version from the Options table, then rerun the upgrade. 2. Restore your old database (you did back up first, right?), then re- run the upgrade. In both cases, empty the user/cache directory first (except for the .htaccess file, if there is one), and try changing to a stock theme, so there is no possibility that any of the problems is a result of your theme (see http://groups.google.com/group/habari-users/browse_thread/thread/5eca9f1a2410f6e7 for an example of this).
