Hi Colin, thanks a lot for the patch. It works perfectly for me and what I need.
I just wanted to add that there are situations when there might be authenticated users that still want the filtered posts. (For private posts for example) I'm not sure if this problem can be solved, since I really don't understand the AtomPub specifications well enough.
