I think the confusion might be between the 0.6 and 0.7 versions of
Habari.
When I first installed Habari, I installed the stable 0.6 release and
saw <a href="http:// ...> when inserting an image (to my surprise)
When I later installed the 0.7 version I was pleased to see <img
alt="" src="http:// ...>
The Habari Media Silo plugin I have installed is version 1.0.1
