Take a look at the metaseo plugin.  This may do what you want, and if not,
it's in the -extras repo, so you can add additional functionality for others
to take advantage of.

I don't use a plugin for this stuff, instead I code it directly into my
theme.  I have a set of common files I share between themes so I don't have
to duplicate too much.
