As a workaround until the server is fixed, you should find changing...
define('UPDATE_URL', 'http://www.habariproject.org/beacon/');
... at the top of system/classes/update.php to ...
define('UPDATE_URL', 'https://beacon.habariproject.org/');
... will stop these errors.
