You can't just install a new version over your broken installation. When starting Habari will still see your broken config.php file and use it.

I think you would have to correct the config.php file and see if the currect installation is working, or simply delete the config.php file and reinstall.

Now if you don't have any content yet, I would personnally just delete my Habari folder completely and start over. This should be a matter of only a few minutes now that you know the procedure.

Ok well I just downloaded .7 (I was using the .6 version), and I am
still getting the same error message. Where can I download the
config.php file? I deleted all of the previous files before
downloading and uploading the newer version.

Ok, so I am up to the point where all I need to do is install Habari
to my website. However, when I was trying to install it I accidentally
typed in the wrong database name. When I tried to go back to the
installation screen, it keeps saying "Habari General Error - Unable to
connect to database" How do I get back to the installation screen?
Anyone experience this problem before?
You can either download the config.php file that was created and edit
it, putting in the proper values, or simply delete the config.php file
and start over.

Out of curiousity, what version of Habari are you using? Habari 0.7
was just released, and it is recommended that you use it. This sort of
thing shouldn't happen with the version 0.7, and if it does, we'd like
to here about it.
