I'm afraid I can't help you with PHP logs or specific errors. The lack of these obviously make it hard, if not impossible, to get to the bottom of this. I assume the Habari devs are monitoring 0.7 related user complaints and since this issue is more in the category 'mildly irritating' than 'severely hampering' I'll just have to wait and see if more users observe (and report) the same behaviour.
