The error in your screenshot is completely different. It’s saying that it can’t create the .htaccess file for you, which is the first step the installer takes, not necessarily that there is anything wrong with your configuration.
As long as you create the file and then make sure it is readable by the web server (or just make sure the web server can write to the root Habari directory so it can create it itself), the install should proceed happily. If you’ve created the file already, can you double check the permissions to make sure Apache can read it?
