It is a limitation with the HackRF, and not the computer you've attached to it, that prevents it from acting as a full-duplex transceiver. As a cost cutting measure, only one combined ADC/DAC was used, and it can only be in one mode (TX/RX) at a time. You can synchronize the clocks of two HackRFs and have one dedicated to transmitting and another for receiving to get full-duplex functionality.
