Here's an updated version of my firmware upgrade script, with suggestions and patches from Chris Kuethe
This script is designed to test if you have everything necessary to upgrade the device, and if not, it offers suggestions on how to fix it. It should be friendly to those who aren't comfortable with Linux. Please let me know if you have any problems.
