Hi - I had the same problem. libhackrf, software tools, firmware/CPLD were all at saltest version - namely 2015.07.2.
In order to make it work correctly GRC, I also had to install the latest version of gr-osmosdr in gnuradio. I know how to update it in pentoo - I don't know how to do it in the Mint OS.
