The public server window was closed and memory usage was around 800MB. I restarted
the server already.

This is because the public server is down. There's at least a couple of possible explanations:
1. The power went off and the server box is off.
2. The telemetry wall's usage has sent the hackystat server app into weeds.
If someone goes into the lab today, please check the state of the public server and restart it. If the server box is running, please check the memory usage of the server app process before killing it and let us know.
