OK, now things are getting fun.
* The build sensor data indicates checkstyle is the failure. * The failure message for Checkstyle can be parsed to get the file name the failed checkstyle. * The commit data can be parsed to find out who committed the file that failed checkstyle.
Just for fun, I was trying to go through these steps manually and found out that there is no commit data for hackystat user [EMAIL PROTECTED] for yesterday! Cedric--looks like we need to update usermaps.xml to include Christoph.
Also note that one of our hypotheses from the 2004 data is that new hackystat users tend to fail the build more frequently when they commit than experienced users. Looks like we have our first bit of confirming evidence from 2005 :-)
Yesterday is a particularly interesting day on which to run "Daily Project Details" for hacky2004-all.
I notice that Issue data is not appearing in the Daily Project Details analysis for yesterday, even though I checked and do have Issue data for yesterday (yeah!). Aaron--could you check into this, please?
Remaining stable release to do: - Aaron, please check into Daily Project Details for Issue data. - I need to fix the Daily Diary CSV alert to replace spaces by %20 in the generated URL so it's clickable in a browser. - I also need to update Chapter 4 of the documentation with the new Build and Issue stuff.
Looks like we'll make the stable release by the end of the day!
