At last, a daily build error that wasn't reasonably avoidable!
Yesterday, Takuya added a new method to the ProjectListener class to detect new Project definition.
It turns out that hackySQI extends this class, and thus needs to implement the new projectDefined method. Takuya apparently didn't check hackySQI before committing.
This is a reasonable error to make, at least from my perspective. When making a low-level change, I would hope that people would try to check the ripple effect on as many modules as they can think of, but the whole point of the daily build is to make sure that every single module is covered. The only way to prevent this kind of error reliably would be for everyone to be building every single module all the time, and that's too expensive and exactly the reason we implemented the daily build in the first place.
So, Takuya, please make the fix to hackySQI. After committing, please invoke the build for hackystat-ALL to make sure there are no other errors lingering due to your listener modification.
Cedric: it will be interesting to see what your causal analysis mechanism makes of this one! You'll need to use dependency data to narrow down the choices, since hackySQI was not even modified yesterday.
Cheers, Philip
