This is indeed true. What's interesting to me is that the one piece of information that I really do want to monitor at the grain size of a day is success/failure of the daily build! So, from a practical perspective, if we have drop-outs in certain kinds of sensor data as collateral damage from the failure of a daily build, that seems to be OK.
