Something definitely sounds busted. Another thing you can try to do is running another analysis, something like active time, which should definitely read in the sensor data and build the workspace cache.

No matter how I refresh workspace (e.g. by changing the start day and pushing the set button), there is no change in the contents of the above 4 textareas.

Hongbing, of course, is most qualified to answer this question, but let me request clarification. What do you mean by "there is no change in workspaces"? How are you assessing that?
