I've updated 10 out of 14 sensor data types to the new evolutionary structure today, so I'm pretty confident I can finish this tomorrow. At that point, I'll be committing my changes and sending out an explanatory email. I'll also be "volunteering" people to upgrade the sensors for the new format. This should be quite simple and should take less that 30 minutes per sensor.

Once that's done, I'll do some final local testing and then put it up on the public server. At that point, everyone who is sending data to the public server will need to upgrade their sensors (which, happily, now requires exactly one mouse click with hackyInstaller!). We'll also need to update the sensors on hackydev.

And, at _that_ point, we'll be finally ready to start doing some actual evolution! There will be a whole other email about that.

Cheers,
Philip
