Hey Guys,

One of my friends at work, convinced me to install NetBeans. I haven't
used it yet; partially because I want a Hackystat sensor for it first. I
spent the night digging around the NetBeans API looking for a way to hook
into events like open file and close file with no success.

Anyway, is anyone familary with NetBeans? Or has anyone developed a
NetBeans sensor in the past?

thanks, aaron

In fact, Sun has dedicated some resources within the NetBeans development team for Hackystat integration. They are planning to send a developer out to Hawaii in early 2006 to come up to speed. So, NetBeans support for Hackystat is definitely on the horizon.

Cam has fiddled around with NetBeans integration; it turns out to be a bit more difficult than anticipated. My hope is that with the actual NetBeans developers involved, we can get some API changes made when/if necessary to facilitate this integration.

Cheers,
Philip
