Hey Guys,
So.. I implemented a little Java application that downloads the
hackyInstaller.jar file with a single click. You can get it here if
you like http://csdl.ics.hawaii.edu/~kagawaa/hackyCore_InstallerDownload.zip .
Its nothing fancy. It just uses some of the same download logic that
I implemented in the Jira2 sensor. Anyway, there are a lot easier
ways to do this, but I implemented this because I wanted to work on a
simple application in Netbeans to learn more about it. So, I figured
I'd do something useful.

Hey Guys,
I was wondering about something very minor, but bothers me..
Every once in a while, I open HackyInstaller using a shortcut that I
made to see if I have to upgrade my sensors. But, what I have come
to realize is that when a sensor needs to be updated your
HackyInstaller jar file is also out of date. So, what I have been
doing is, going to the hackystat public server and downloading the
hackyinstaller.jar file, then updating my sensors. I noticed that I
did this every single time I needed to update my sensors. I know
that I probably don't have to update my HackyInstaller.jar file
every time, but I just don't like seeing that red message. :)
So, I was wondering if it was possible to make an update feature in
HackyInstaller that updates itself. Basically, it would be like the
other updating features out there. Although, I have no idea how
that would work.
Anyway, if it is simple then I'm all for it.
