I suppose that if we had an Active Issue report in the DailyProjectDetails we
would be able to monitor which Issues are being committed against.

Thanks, Aaron

Subject: [HACKYSTAT-DEV-L] The meaning of "Quick Fix"
To: [email protected]

> Greetings, all,
>
> There was discussion raised at the last CSDL meeting about the Jira
> Quick Fix issue, and the comment was made that developers would
> inexorably slide toward using that issue for all of their commits.
> I hope that's not true, and I will try to monitor the commit
> messages for Quick Fix to see if that starts to happen.
>
> I think that the best way to ensure appropriate use of Quick Fix is
> to document clearly why we have it, when it is appropriate to use
> it, and when it is not appropriate to use it. So, I've edited the
> description field associated with the 7.4 Quick Fix instance to
> provide a better description of the motivation and application of
> this issue:
>
> <http://hackydev.ics.hawaii.edu:8080/browse/HACK-614>
>
> Let me know if you have comments or improvements to suggest.
