Broken on java-1.4
and a bug in static method getTestString(int len).
This function generates a character with code point equal or smaller then
0xFFFF, and converts this into array of chars of size 2(which should be one)
and appened it buffer.
So resulting into a a null character tobe inserted into string after a no null
character.
