Hi all,
Here is a design question. To my mind, there is mainly two ways to describe
permissions using the Permission interface:
- either we store for each file who is allowed to do what on the file; we then
integrate a Permission field in each INode,
- or for each principal, we store what the principal is allowed to do; we then
integrate a Permission field in each Principal (User, Host...).
There might also be a way in-between...
Which way are you thinking about for now?
