Tom White commented on HADOOP-1568: ----------------------------------- Sorry, just had a chance to look at this (been on vacation), and I had a few comments: 1. SimpleDateFormat is not thread safe, so df in ListPathsServlet cannot be shared. (See http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/docs/api/java/text/SimpleDateFormat.html#synchronization) It's probably simplest to create a new instance for each GET. 2. Is HftpFileSystem a typo? 3. A few unit tests would be nice at some point :) > NameNode Schema for HttpFileSystem > ---------------------------------- > > Key: HADOOP-1568 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HADOOP-1568 > Project: Hadoop > Issue Type: New Feature > Components: fs > Reporter: Chris Douglas > Assignee: Chris Douglas > Fix For: 0.14.0 > > Attachments: 1568-6.patch, compat.patch, xmlenc-0.52.jar > > > This issue will track the design and implementation of (the first pass of) a > servlet on the namenode for querying its filesystem via HTTP.
