Code look good. Two minor comments:
1. In MiniDFSCluster. waitActive(), we should probably be invoking
client.datanodeReport(ALL) rather than client.datanodeReport(LIVE).
2. This patch introduces a new conf variable called heartbeat.recheck.interval.
is this really needed?
