I'm hoping at some point to go through what is on the Hadoop wiki and
compare it to the process that we've built up here. I'm pretty sure we're
doing a lot more safe guarding/checking of data pre- and post- upgrade that
either aren't part of the documented procedure or are marked as optional
that we treat as required.
