Hi folks,
The finalizeUpgrade command does not seem to be doing anything for us. Some drives of the datanodes are 100% disk full due to the 'previous' folder. Namenode logs say: 2007-12-11 14:39:48,158 INFO org.apache.hadoop.dfs.Storage: Finalizing upgrade for storage directory /var/hadoop. cur LV = -7; cur CTime = 1197334449959 2007-12-11 14:39:48,210 INFO org.apache.hadoop.dfs.Storage: Finalize upgrade for /var/hadoop is complete. But I don't see anything on the datanode logs and the 'previous' folder stays put and disk is full .. Can we just delete these folders manually? Joydeep
