Hello all, Ron has suggested to give a lecture next week on mulitilinugual typesetting (short notice lecture, as we had a cancellation).
The question is: do we wish to hold a lecture next Monday at all, since it is the day right after Rosh Hashana? Here is a snippet from Ron's mail, describing his lecture: --------8X------------- A short-notice lecture would be less polished that what I would give if I had more time, but this is not necessarily a disadvantage. The lecture I have in mind will concentrate mostly on some of the issues arising from multilingual needs and not so much on the technicalities of various solutions. I can also give a follow-up lecture on multilingual TeX, but for that I will need more time to prepare (the talk as well as some software updates). -----8X---------------------------- While I am at it, I might as well already vote: I think we should hold a lecture, and I would like to hear Ron on that date. We will have a long drought period right after (regarding hearing lectures, not giving them!), and I see no point in making it longer. Waiting for your input, Orna. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Haifa Linux Club Mailing List (http://www.haifux.org) To unsub send an empty message to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
