My suggestion is to add a tips page (maybe call it otherwise) with those
problems and their solutions.

This is a nice idea, but I wonder how much patience we'll have to keep up with it. Usually, if the question is formulated right, google will eventually pick it up from the mailing lists archive. Most of the tips have a lifetime of how much? A year? Would you go to the tip page if you got stuck with your computer? It gotta be a darn good page.

I suggest spending the energies on keeping the web site up and running. It has had a few problems lately, as you may know (and we can't blame you...).

That example was both good and bad.

It's good because it's indeed a burning problem, with no solution found on the web. It's a bad example, because I didn't solve it myself, but rather wiped the disk. ;)
