Tomorrow, Monday (30/8/2004), 18:30, the Haifa Linux Club will once again meet to hear Nadav Har'EL talk about:
Web Hacking Wielding a Web browser (such as Mozilla or Internet Explorer), the world is at your fingertips. Stock quotes, newspapers, your bank statement --- all are just a few clicks away. You can also send SMSs for free, renew your library books, and check your university grades. Web automation allows you to harness all this power and more, by scripting what normally are interactive surfing sessions. We talk about Web automation, its past, present and future, give some useful real-world examples of what one can do with it, and introduce Libwww-perl, a Perl module for Web automation. Slides are available from: http://www.haifux.org/lectures/110 09/OLS2004.html We meet in the Technion, Taub 3. See http://www.haifux.org.org/where.html for arrival details. Attendance is free, and you are all invited! After (or before) we might have a small (and SHORT) w2l planning meeting. -- Orr Dunkelman, [EMAIL PROTECTED] "Any human thing supposed to be complete, must for that reason infallibly be faulty" -- Herman Melville, Moby Dick.
