Hi all! I'm using postfix on Mandrake, so I can use the sendmail command to send mail. At the moment, postfix sends messages like this:
http://www.shlomifish.org/bugs/CPAN-Input-Report.txt As you can see the problem there is that the MAIL FROM header reads: MAIL FROM:<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> SIZE=2444 Where [EMAIL PROTECTED] is my local user and not a real mail address. A good SMTP session with my ISP server would be this: http://www.shlomifish.org/bugs/Good-SMTP-Stream.txt Where MAIL FROM is [EMAIL PROTECTED] How can I configure postfix to use the MAIL FROM as [EMAIL PROTECTED] Regards, Shlomi Fish -- --------------------------------------------------------------------- Shlomi Fish [EMAIL PROTECTED] Homepage: http://www.shlomifish.org/ Knuth is not God!
