Intel – Haifa is looking for Linux System Administrator Responsible for monitoring, maintaining, upgrading, testing, troubleshooting of UNIX computer servers in a distributed computing environment. In this role you will be part of computing monitoring and control team that provides global monitoring to Intel high performing compute services all over the globes. Duties included: Provide end user ad-hoc monitoring by understanding the business environment. Provide 2nd/3rd level support for design engineers and assume technical leadership for out of the box and home grown applications. Troubleshooting for errors, perform load tests and improve the monitoring environment constantly. You will have to train, educate and coach the team members and become a technical leader of the team. Creating technical procedures and guidelines to support the monitoring environment capabilities. Requirements You should possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or an equivalent.
