<soapbox validxml='questionable'> Some, and I don't think it's the Type guys, aren't getting how templating languages work in Rails. Rails is completely agnostic when it comes to what templating language it uses to render a view. No?
Haml saves me a ton of time because I simply don't create crappy markup anymore. If other people still love to debug their markup, I don't care but the best of Rails is about doing less work better.
