Hi Matt, Thanks for your offer. I would love to see as much contribution as possible. Haml is heading towards a 2.2 release and so we're focusing on stability and documentation. Nathan and I also need to put our heads together and come up with a hit list of things that need to get done before we can create a release candidate. If anyone has any input for what should be on that list, please speak up.
So to start with, if you want to try writing some documentation for new features in 2.2 you can peruse the list of changes with this command: git log stable..master --pretty=oneline --no-merges --abbrev-commit You can also look through the unit tests surrounding those changes for gaps in test coverage. Also, we're going to coordinate a 1.0 release of Compass with the 2.2 stable release, so if you want to help out over there, I could certainly use help writing some official documentation for http://compass-style.org/ The website will need a plugin registry and a compass lab. So if any of these things sound like something anyone wants to sink their teeth into, let me know. chris On Thu, Jan 15, 2009 at 8:31 AM, Matt Henry <[email protected]> wrote: > > To the Haml gang - > > I've been working with Haml & Sass on some personal projects for a > little while, so have at least gotten to know them as a user, and I'd > like to start contributing to the codebase. > > What I'm hoping is that you folks might have some suggestions on parts > of the project that need some love.
