Better to deprecate it, rethink it, and possibly add it back later than to wait and drastically change the meaning of color operators. I'm somewhat torn as to whether it'd make more sense to have Photoshop-like color addition represented by #321 + #444 or color_add(#321, #444) -- the latter form is more explicit that it's not doing elementwise addition.
