I think the problem you will have will be associating geographical locations with post codes. The post office charges a nice fee for this information, and therefore it is not readily available. I know that the Openstreetmap.org crowd have been after this data in a freely distributable form for some time. Also, I bet the information you get from the Virgin checker site is also protected. As Virgin hold this data, maybe you should suggest that they create a map! Alternatively, explain what you want to do with it and see if they will provide the data for you.
