Note that both rev1 and rev2 have libpam-keyring that allow you to get your keys accessible as soon as you login. It's usefull e.g. to allow NetworkManager to get the WEP/WPA key without asking you a new password just after your login one. But you have to configure it a bit (need only one line change), see "apt-cache show hanoilug-desktop" for more info.
