Dear friends, Last year, due to our increased number of employees, our ADSL connection was upgraded from 512/256Kbps (download/upload) to 2048/640Kbps. As a result, since November 2007, the new MegaVNN<http://www.hnpt.com.vn/pages/dich_vu/internet/dichvu_mega_cuoc.asp>package has been applied in which we're charged 700.000VND/per month instead of 250.000VND/month. At first, our Internet connection did get increased. But gradually, no one can keep our calm with its slow and unstable speed, and we are no exception.
To secure our investment, a simple decision was made to 1) downgrade the service to the normal one after March, 2) consider to stop MegaVNN, and switch to another ISP. FYI, here is the statistics data on Internet usage at our office after nearly five months using new package. (See files attached herewith: First screenshot was taken on Feb, the second was on Mar. Smoothwall is used as our firewall). As you can see, the highest speed did reach 152kbytes on Nov. But that's all. The average speed is just 15kbytes. What do you think? Are you in the same situation? Have you any suggestion/advice? What is your choice? -- Le Quoc Thai Engineer Expert System & Softcomputing Institute of Information Technology (VAST) Tel.: (84)-04-961 Mobile: 095-330-7791 -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
